Lizzo Responds to ‘South Park’ Comparing Her to a Weight-Loss Drug Cheaper Than Ozempic

Lizzo is graciously handling a recent mention on South Park, where the show used her name as an alternative drug to Ozempic. In the episode titled “The End of Obesity,” Eric Cartman’s doctor prescribes him Lizzo as a weight-loss drug that can be used in place of Ozempic.

The scene features the doctor telling Cartman, “I’m going to write you a prescription for Lizzo. She’s a really good singer who talks about body positivity, and just being happy with the way you look. I want you to listen to Lizzo five times a day, and watch her videos just before bedtime. I’m afraid you’ll have to be on Lizzo for the rest of your life.”

Despite the mocking reference, Lizzo has not responded negatively and is choosing to take the high road in this situation. The mention on South Park may have been meant in jest, but Lizzo continues to spread her message of self-love and body positivity through her music and actions. It’s clear that she remains unbothered by the comedic portrayal on the show.
