Will Smith and Martin Lawrence sat down for Complex’s GOAT Talk to discuss relationships while promoting their new movie, Bad Boys: Ride or Die. When asked for their “GOAT relationship advice,” Lawrence simply stated, “Treat the person how you want to be treated.” This advice led to some light-hearted banter between the two as Lawrence admitted to having two divorces, which prompted Smith to joke about the effectiveness of the advice. Interestingly, Lawrence’s ex-wives, Patricia Southall and Shamicka Gibbs, were in attendance at the premiere of the new Bad Boys film. Despite his past, Lawrence mentioned that he is “getting better” at following his own advice.
