Oschino Confirms Beanie Sigel’s Court Story Despite Joe Budden’s Claims That Jay-Z Disproved It: ‘This Is Not Gossip’

Oschino shared his disbelief at Jay-Z’s actions when he traveled from New York City to Philadelphia on behalf of Beanie Sigel, only to tell the judge he couldn’t help. He expressed confusion at Jay-Z’s decision to leave a friend in jail and questioned the audacity of lying about what was said in court.

In a video discussing the incident, Oschino emphasized that he was present when Jay-Z made his statement and couldn’t believe he would later deny it as hearsay. He underscored his background in the streets, which shapes his perspective on such matters.

Beanie Sigel faced attempted murder charges in July 2003 after allegedly firing shots during an altercation, injuring two individuals. After a mistrial in the first trial, where Jay-Z testified, Sigel was acquitted in a 2005 retrial.

During an appearance on Drink Champs in 2021, Sigel revealed his disappointment with Jay-Z’s courtroom testimony, claiming it strained their relationship. He felt let down by Jay-Z’s declaration that he wouldn’t take responsibility for Sigel.

Sigel expressed his deep hurt, stating, “I’ve never been crushed like that ever in my life. ‘Cause I’m like, ‘Damn, this is my man’ […] That fucked me up. That took away a lot of shit that I thought we had. Like, that’s big bro.” He acknowledged his own behavior at the time, recognizing that he may have been acting erratically.
