Young Thug’s attorney files motion to disqualify judge from YSL RICO case

Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, along with his lawyer Steel, has raised concerns regarding Judge Glanville possibly having a secret meeting with co-defendant YSL Woody. This meeting, which was not disputed by the judge, has led to speculations of judicial misconduct. Steel was taken into custody on June 10 after refusing to disclose how he obtained information about the meeting. Originally sentenced to spend weekends in Fulton County Jail for 20 days, Steel was granted bond on an emergency motion on June 12 pending the appeal of his contempt of court charge.
Both Steel and Young Thug have requested a mistrial in light of these developments. The decision on the new motion is still pending, leaving uncertainty regarding the outcome of the case.
