Lawsuit filed against Floyd Mayweather and Lil Uzi Vert for allegations of assault

A man has come forward accusing Floyd Mayweather and Lil Uzi Vert of physically assaulting him. According to TMZ, Abdullah Ali’s legal team claims that he was attacked by members of Mayweather’s TMT crew and Uzi on July 27, 2023, while he was recording a trailer owned by Mayweather near a New York City hotel.

When Ali attempted to get closer to the vehicle, the crew emerged from the trailer and demanded that he stop filming. A verbal altercation reportedly escalated into a physical confrontation, with Ali being thrown to the ground and allegedly punched and kicked for over a minute. Ali claims to have sustained injuries from the incident, including knocked-out teeth, and has sought medical treatment, in addition to filing a lawsuit for unspecified damages. Despite reporting the incident to the police, no arrests have been made.

Although Mayweather was not directly implicated in the assault, Uzi denied any involvement, stating that he has no connection to Mayweather’s Money Team and was not present during the alleged incident. It is worth noting that Uzi purchased Mayweather’s Bugatti in 2019 to commemorate his 25th birthday, and the following year, he was spotted with Mayweather and Gervonta Davis during a training session behind the scenes.
