E-40 Grateful to Kendrick Lamar for Allowing Him to Narrate ‘Pop Out’ Show

E-40 recently shared his gratitude for being chosen by Kendrick Lamar to narrate the “Pop Out: Ken & Friends” concert in Inglewood. The Bay Area legend took to Instagram to express his honor at being a part of what he called “one of the biggest nights in hip-hop history.”

In his post, E-40 spoke highly of Lamar, stating that he always knew the Compton rapper was destined for greatness. When he received the call to narrate the concert, E-40 knew it was going to be a monumental night for the West Coast.

E-40 felt privileged to be considered for such an important role, especially because he believes that the West Coast is sometimes overlooked in the hip-hop world. He was glad to be able to contribute to the historical moment and add his own personal touch to the event.
