Released in April, Tinashe’s “Nasty” quickly gained popularity, thanks in part to a TikTok video featuring user Nates.Vibes performing Caribbean “wine” dance moves set to the song. The edited clip went viral online, sparking a wave of memes that highlighted Nashe’s catchy one-liners like “I’ve been a nasty girl” and “Is somebody gonna match my freak?”
