Ghostface Killah explains his reasons for avoiding Hulu’s ‘Wu-Tang: An American Saga’

Ghost revealed that he had met with the creators of the show, but was not entirely pleased with the direction they were taking. He also mentioned that he did not have any relationship with Siddiq Saunderson, the actor portraying him in the series. Method Man echoed similar sentiments during a conversation on Kevin Hart’s “Gold Minds” podcast.

“I knew how RZA works, so to see this come to life on screen was a no-brainer for me,” Meth commented. “Initially, I was surprised by the liberties they were taking with the story. Looking back, I understand that sometimes embellishments are necessary, especially when some individuals involved are still dealing with legal issues. Personally, I have not watched any episodes, but I do receive the scripts in advance. It’s important to remember that not everything is meant for everyone.”

“Wu-Tang: An American Saga” made its debut in September 2019 and aired for three seasons on Hulu. The series featured actors such as Ashton Sanders, Shameik Moore, Dave East, Joey Bada$$, among others.
