The user, known as Turbulent_Income_377, started a thread titled “The Future of the US is looking Increasingly Bleak After the Presidential Debate” in the Future subreddit. Little did they know, the subreddit was actually meant for music fans to chat about the rapper, not political enthusiasts.
In their initial post, Turbulent asked for predictions about the future of the US, questioned if Biden would be replaced, and inquired about his chances of recovery. It wasn’t until later that the user realized their error and admitted their mix-up. Despite the confusion, they expressed their surprise at discovering Future’s music catalog and even admitted to enjoying it.
In an update, Turbulent wrote, “Hey guys, I did not know that this subreddit was dedicated to a music artist at all. I just like predictions about the future of politics and society, and thought that this was the place for it. I did decide to check out some of Future’s music, and I liked it. I’ve always appreciated hip hop and dream pop, and his sound seems similar.
