Yung Joc apologizes to Megan Thee Stallion for backing Tory Lanez, admits his initial statement was ‘a bit foolish’

After appearing on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, where Sharpe apologized for making inappropriate comments about Megan Thee Stallion, rapper Yung Joc also expressed remorse towards her. During a discussion on Streetz co-host Mz. Shyneka’s show, Joc initially tried to avoid the topic of betting against Meg. However, he ultimately acknowledged his error and issued an apology.

“In light of Shannon Sharpe apologizing to Meg Thee Stallion, I want to extend my own apology to her as well. I regret not supporting you during that difficult time and having doubts about your situation with Tory Lanez,” Joc confessed. “Although I still have some unanswered questions, I realize now that my actions, such as making that bet, were inappropriate.”

Joc went on to admit that he lost the bet he made regarding Lanez’s legal situation and acknowledged that his behavior was foolish. “I placed a bet thinking that Lanez would be acquitted, and I was wrong. I apologize, Meg, for my actions,” he stated. Despite Joc’s apology, his co-host Shawty Shawty maintained his support for Lanez, declaring, “Free Tory Lanez.”
