GloRilla is ecstatic to hear that both Rihanna and ASAP Rocky are fans of her work. In a recent interview with journalist Shirley Ju, the Memphis rapper expressed her joy at the support shown by the two superstars. When asked about Rihanna’s video of herself singing along to GloRilla’s latest single “TGIF,” she couldn’t contain her excitement. “I tweaked, I screamed,” she said. “As soon as I saw it, I screamed so loud. I was like, ‘Ahhhh RiRi!'”
Last year, GloRilla shared a voicemail message from her grandmother, in which her grandmother suggested that she looks like Rihanna. During her conversation with Ju, GloRilla joked about being related to Rihanna and Rocky. “You know, they’re saying me and RiRi kind of related somehow,” she said. “I don’t know how, but you know. I love her, RiRi I love you. Yeah I mess with both of them. They’re my people. They’re my brothers and sisters from another mother. Cousin from another mother!”
