Jake Paul surprised Lil Yachty with a unique PR package that included a message from an AI-generated version of the rapper’s future self. The package was designed to promote Paul’s new men’s hygiene brand called ‘W.’ Lil Yachty shared the contents of the package with his fans, dubbing it the “craziest PR package” he has ever received.
The video posted by the artist shows Yachty opening a miniature yellow locker with his name on it. Inside the locker were throwback photos of Yachty, prompting him to jokingly question, “First off, how did you get my high school pictures?”
Along with the photos, the package contained W products and a miniature screen that played a video of AI “Yachty” claiming to be from the future. The deepfake version of Yachty humorously stated that in the year 2025, the real Yachty develops a less-than-pleasant scent which leads to some significant consequences in the music industry.
The AI “Yachty” then suggests using Jake Paul’s new men’s care line, ‘W,’ to combat the issue of the musky odor. The AI version encourages Yachty to use the vitamin-infused products, available nationwide, for the sake of his friendships including his buddy Drake.
At the end of the video, the real Lil Yachty laughs in disbelief at the surprising message from his future self, exclaiming, “Yo, what? This is crazy.” The playful nature of the PR package left Lil Yachty and his fans entertained by the unexpected twist.
