With her debut single “Blak Britney,” released last year, Miss Kaninna delivered an anti-establishment anthem celebrating Blak excellence and shedding light on the challenges faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Following up with “Pinnacle Bitch,” a lively club track that explored similar themes, Miss Kaninna quickly gained recognition and was named “Unearthed Artist of The Year” at the 2023 J Awards.
