NBA star Kevin Durant and YouTuber iShowSpeed recently appeared on Logan Paul’s popular podcast, Impaulsive. The episode seems to have been recorded a few months ago but was only released this week. One of the topics discussed during Durant and iShowSpeed’s interview with Paul was J. Cole’s recent apology to Kendrick Lamar for his “7 Minute Drill” diss track.
Durant, who is 35 years old, shared his thoughts on the situation, stating, “I thought he was standing on what he said and they had a little sparring session. Which, I don’t think it’s anything bigger than just like, ‘I’m a better rapper than you.’ Like, it’s not nothing personal, I don’t feel like. So I didn’t think it needed to go that far.”
The NBA star continued, saying, “Maybe it was a lot of noise around that little, I guess, that beef. They are all friends, they all know each other. So I’m sure it was a little weird but as a fan of the rap game, I didn’t think it was too crazy with what was going on. I just thought it was just three great artists trying to state their claim as the best.”
