Convicted Killer of Slim 400 Sentenced to 32 Years in Prison

Slim 400’s killer has been given a significant prison sentence, as announced by Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón on Tuesday, July 16. The individual responsible for the death of the rapper in 2021, Michael Terry, was sentenced to 32 years behind bars after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter just a day earlier.

In a press release, Gascón expressed condolences to the family of the late rapper, Vincent Cohran, a valued member of the Los Angeles artistic community whose life was tragically cut short due to gun violence. The District Attorney emphasized the commitment of the Community Violence Reduction Unit to aggressively prosecute acts of gun violence in order to safeguard our neighborhoods. Gascón stressed that gun violence has no place in society and affirmed the office’s dedication to collaborating with local communities to prevent such senseless crimes.
