The recent raid on the Florida home of Sean Kingston was linked to a civil lawsuit filed by Ver Ver Entertainment, according to Attorney Dennis Card. The lawsuit claims that Kingston owes $150,000 for an entertainment installation system that includes a 232-inch TV. Card, who represents the company, described Kingston as someone who enjoys showing off his wealth and possessions, stating, “My client has a $150,000 television sound system that’s in there, there’s also about one million worth of watches that are in there, there’s a $80,000 custom bed that was ordered. This is an organized systematic fraud.”
Furthermore, Card mentioned that Kingston has a script in which he claims to work with Justin Bieber and uses his celebrity status to lure people into releasing items without payment. The raid took place more than a year after Dream Watch filed a lawsuit against Kingston for failing to pay over $900,000 for two designer watches. These watches included a $534,000 Richard Mille and a $378,000 Phillippe Calibre.
Card described Kingston as a scammer who has a history of legal issues, including felony probation for trafficking in stolen property and judgments against him for not paying for over a million dollars in watches. Kingston responded to the matter on Instagram, stating, “People love negative energy! I am good and so is my mother! My lawyers are handling everything as we speak.”
It is unclear if Kingston was present at the Florida home during the police raid. The ongoing legal issues and controversies surrounding Kingston highlight the challenges he faces in managing his finances and reputation.
