Franky Venegas of Island Boys Group Arrested in Florida for Reckless Driving and Other Charges

The Island Boys, a well-known hip-hop duo and TikTok sensation, have recently found themselves in more legal trouble. One of the members, Kodiyakredd (Franky Venegas), was arrested a year ago for domestic battery in Florida and has now been arrested again in his home state. According to TMZ, the 22-year-old rapper was taken into custody in Fort Lauderdale for multiple driving-related offenses and was then transferred to Broward County Jail.

Among the charges Venegas faces are operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, possessing a false I.D., and reckless driving. Despite the trouble, his twin brother and fellow Island Boys member Flyysoulja (Alex Venegas) took to TikTok to show support, writing “Free him. Flysoulja x kodiyakredd real brother got you.”

This isn’t the first time Venegas has had a brush with the law. Last year, he was arrested for domestic battery after allegedly assaulting his then-girlfriend during a heated argument. The woman claimed she was slapped and thrown into a pool at an Airbnb they were staying at, resulting in injuries to her chin, legs, and arms. Venegas later posted on Instagram claiming the incident was not as it seemed.

Despite these legal troubles, the Island Boys continue to maintain a strong presence on social media and TikTok, where they have garnered a large following. It remains to be seen how these incidents will impact their music career and public image moving forward.
