Sean Kingston faces ten charges, including defrauding jeweler of close to $500,000, following home raid

Jamaican-American singer, Sean Kingston, real name Kisean Paul Anderson, is facing a total of ten charges following a police raid on his Florida home last week. The Broward County Sheriff’s Office alleges that Kingston was involved in an organized scheme to defraud multiple companies. Along with Kingston, his 61-year-old mother, Janice Turner, was also arrested in connection with the raid.

The charges against Kingston include defrauding the First Republic Bank and Bank of America, a probation violation for trafficking stolen property, and grand theft of $86,500 for a custom bed. Legal documents also accuse Kingston and Turner of defrauding a jeweler of $480,000, a Cadillac Escalade dealer of $159,700, and other luxury businesses. Turner was released on a $160,000 bond while Kingston remains in custody without bail. He is expected to appear in a San Bernardino court for an extradition hearing before being sent to Florida.

Despite the allegations, Kingston took to his Instagram Stories to deny any wrongdoing. He expressed annoyance at the negative energy surrounding the situation and reassured his followers that he and his mother are doing well. Kingston stated that his lawyers are handling everything.

The charges against Kingston and his mother have sparked controversy and speculation among fans and the press. While the legal process unfolds, Kingston maintains his innocence and claims that the truth will come to light through legal representation.
