Diddy Accused of Preventing Biggie from Landing ‘Rolling Stone’ Cover: ‘He’s Gone… I Belong on the Front Page’

Diddy has come under fire for allegedly taking a cover spot on Rolling Stone that was originally meant for the late Notorious B.I.G. The controversy arose when an investigative article published by Rolling Stone shed light on Diddy’s behavior during his time at Howard University, Uptown Records, and Bad Boy Records. Former Bad Boy co-founder and president, Kirk Burrowes, recounted a specific incident where Rolling Stone wanted to feature Biggie Smalls on the cover in his honor.

Burrowes claimed that he advised Diddy to let Biggie have the cover, but Diddy chose to take it for himself to promote his debut album, No Way Out. Despite Biggie no longer being alive, Diddy thought he was a better fit for the cover since he had an album release to promote at the time.

In the article, Burrowes remembered telling Diddy that Biggie deserved the cover, but Diddy insisted on being featured instead. He pointed out that Diddy believed he needed the cover to promote his upcoming album. This decision by Diddy raised eyebrows and sparked controversy within the music industry.
