Justin Timberlake was recently apprehended by law enforcement for driving under the influence after exiting the American Hotel. The 43-year-old singer allegedly stated to the police that he had only consumed one drink before being stopped.
According to the arrest report, Timberlake claimed, “I had one martini and I followed my friends home,” as he tried to explain his situation to the authorities. Police officers had noticed Timberlake running a red light and swerving into another lane, prompting them to pull him over.
The officer in charge mentioned that Timberlake’s “eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”
As of now, Timberlake has not released a statement regarding the incident.
