Diddy Cleans Up His Instagram, Cassie’s Video Statement Deleted

Diddy’s social media accounts have been in the spotlight lately. His Twitter account still has a December statement pinned, while his most recent tweet from February focused on his Grammy-nominated album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid.” It seems that Diddy’s TikTok account has also not been updated since last year.

Complex has reached out to Diddy’s representatives for more information on the situation. Artists wiping their social media accounts is not uncommon and often indicates that something new could be on the way. However, in this case, it seems like there may not be any specific reason behind the social media activity.

In a video shared on Instagram back in May, Diddy addressed his past behavior and took full responsibility for his actions. He expressed deep remorse for his actions in a previously released surveillance video showing him assaulting Cassie in 2016.

Back in December, Diddy issued a statement on Instagram and Twitter denying “sickening allegations” against him. Over the past few months, he has faced multiple lawsuits and had his homes raided. Despite these accusations, Diddy maintains his innocence and vows to fight for the truth.

Recently, Diddy made headlines when he returned the Key to the City that was previously given to him by New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Mayor Adams had expressed concerns about the honor following the release of the Cassie video and ultimately made the decision to take back the Key to the City.
