Boosie Badazz is feeling relieved as he has officially removed his ankle monitor in hopeful anticipation of his federal charges being dropped. In a video shared by one of Boosie’s friends on Monday (June 24), the Baton Rouge rapper was captured getting ready to jump into his pool to celebrate his newfound freedom from house arrest, even if prematurely.
“MY P.O. said my charges are terminated and I can cut my ankle monitor off,” Boosie proudly announced to the guests present, who cheered him on as he liberated himself from the ankle monitor before diving in. However, as highlighted by XXL, Boosie’s situation is not completely resolved. According to court documents obtained by the publication, Boosie’s lawyer, Meghan Blanco, has filed for his charges to be dismissed by the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, but has not received a response yet. Despite this uncertainty, Boosie has received the green light from District Judge Cathy A. Bencivengo to remove the monitor, even though his case is still pending.
