Kanye West Fired by Lawyer for Failure to Pay Bill

The legal issues surrounding Kanye West continue to grow as new allegations emerge. Recent claims of sexual harassment and assault and battery have led to his attorney, Brian Brumfield, filing a motion to be relieved of his duties as West’s representative. The lawsuit in question involves Justin Poplawski, who accused West of assault after requesting an autograph in 2022.

The motion filed by Brumfield states that West terminated their relationship on June 21, 2024, and has refused to communicate with his counsel or pay for their services. The alleged incident occurred at SoHo Warehouse in Los Angeles on January 13, 2022, when Brumfield claims he was struck by West after requesting an autograph. West supposedly threatened to make an example out of Brumfield and attributed his behavior to the stress of his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

In response, West’s legal team argued that their client was justified in his actions as outlined in the complaint. This ongoing legal battle adds to the list of troubles facing Kanye West in recent years.
