T.I. and Tiny Seek Dismissal of Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Rapper T.I. and his wife, Tiny Harris, are currently fighting back against a sexual assault lawsuit filed against them, citing that the statute of limitations has expired. The lawsuit, brought by an Air Force veteran, alleges that she was drugged and raped by the couple after meeting them at a Los Angeles club in 2005. Filed under California’s Sexual Abuse and Cover Up Accountability Act, the woman claims she did not consent to any of the sexual acts that took place that night.

In response to the lawsuit, T.I. and Tiny have filed a motion requesting that the case be dismissed entirely due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. They argue that the woman had until December 31, 2007, to file the lawsuit based on the alleged facts, making the current filing time-barred. The couple asserts that the claims made in the complaint lack sufficient evidence to support them.

The woman detailed in her lawsuit that she was in her 20s and met T.I. and Tiny at a club in L.A. through a man named Caviar. She alleges that Tiny gave her a drink and later took her to a hotel room with T.I. After two other women left the room, the woman claims that Tiny undressed her and the couple joined her in the shower, followed by T.I. allegedly inserting his toes in her vagina. The woman also accuses Tiny of grinding and massaging her backside, causing her to feel ill and vomit.

Seeking unspecified damages, the woman has brought multiple charges against T.I. and Tiny, including sexual battery, sexual assault, and emotional distress. The couple has firmly denied all allegations, stating that they have been wrongly accused for three years and have refused to give in to extortion demands. Maintaining their innocence, T.I. and Tiny are prepared to face the claims in court.
