Jojo Siwa, the singer, dancer, and media personality, recently found herself in a dangerous situation as her popularity soared. In response to a threat to her safety earlier this month, she was forced to hire security to protect herself.
During an appearance on E! News to promote her new EP titled “Guilty Pleasure,” Siwa opened up about the increased attention and fanfare surrounding her. She admitted that the newfound fame felt different and then shocked viewers by revealing that she had recently encountered a SWAT team.
In a candid moment during the interview, Siwa shared, “It’s interesting—okay, I guess we’ll get really right into it: I got swatted two nights ago. I haven’t told anybody about this yet. But basically, I showed up to my house, there was four police cars outside.”
The incident highlights the dark side of fame and serves as a reminder of the risks that come with being in the public eye. Despite the challenges she faced, Siwa continues to pursue her passion for music and dancing while taking necessary precautions to ensure her safety.
